Every year, the student associations of Leeuwarden battle for the press prize. This is a prize for the student association that makes the news most often, for a positive reason. Beforehand, the association members get press training. They learn how to deal with the press, how to write a press release and how to make the news.
This year, all associations are assigned a month in which they can score double points. In “The month of…” the selected associaton puts a plan into action that makes it stand out from the others, and gives it a chance to bag the press prize. On the website you can give points to the association whose plan you like best. Click here to vote for your favourite plan.
In addition to the plan that the association puts into action during “The month of…”, it will also receive points for every time it is mentioned in the press in other months. It gathers the press articles and puts these in the press file which will be judged by a jury of three. Whichever association has gathered most points by May wins the press prize! This association will be published on the website of course!
