Each year thousands of students attend college in Leeuwarden. In September, after the summer break, all these students return to town. These students are welcomed into town with music and entertainment by means of The Leip Break! which takes place on ’t Oldehoofsterkerkhof at the bottom of the Oldehove-church tower. Last year, there were stage performances by Gregor Salto, Luciёn Foort, The Opposites, Hermes House Band, Martin Harder, Local Sax Hero, DJ Roog, Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano! More than 12,000 visitors let their hair down at this party.
